You may have heard that many cities have adopted plastic bag bans or taxes to address the issues related to plastic bag pollution. Plastic bags are particularly polluting because they literally blow away. Containing them during the waste process is very challenging, and they essentially never biodegrade.

As you may know, at kikaPaprika we care about the environment. As well as using fabrics that contain recycled water bottles, we use recycled bags, which we encourage our customers to recycle, for our garments. One day we would like to eliminate the use of plastic bags, but so far, we have not found a different solution that meets our needs.
At home, we love reusable grocery bags, and we were excited to find this idea to easily turn an old t-shirt into a great grocery bag.

When we saw this we immediately thought of trying this idea with one of our worn, previous season t-shirts, the Bella.
What do you think - could you reduce your use of plastic grocery bags?

I WANT one of these bags!! A great hostess gift!!
I agree–great idea!!!
Such a clever idea!
I love this!!
A great idea for reusing garments. Plastic bags in the ocean are a hazard to sea life – turtles ingest them mistaking them for their fav food jellyfish and then die a slow lingering death. It’s just laziness to use plastic bags rather than remembering to take a fabric reusable bag with you each time. Pack a fabric bag in you r purse every time you leave the house and show that like Kika you care!
Pretty! This has been an incredibly wonderful article. Many thanks for providing these details.
